Summer is approaching and Hong Kong is gradually warming up. Many people have started to bring out their swimsuits and bikinis to welcome the arrival of summer. I am also preparing to wear more shorts and off-shoulder tops. Have you taken action for yourself? Many friends often ask me what they can do to maintain a slim figure. After giving birth to a child, what methods can be used to maintain the same figure as before? This time I will share with you what I usually do. 

Actually, weight loss really requires persistence and a multi-pronged approach to achieve faster and more effective results. Finding the right weight loss method that suits you, while maintaining a slim figure, also paying attention to your body's health is very important. 

Here are some methods I often use:

1)Brisk walking

Due to the time constraints of taking care of children, I don't have time to exercise regularly. So, when I pick up or drop off my children or go to work, if possible, I will walk briskly instead of exercising. Every time I brisk walk, I also tighten my stomach and straighten my back, which helps to accelerate metabolism. This is a simple yet effective way to burn fat, maintain body health, and sculpt a slim figure.

 

2)Diet

Many people think that after exercising and sweating a lot, they can reduce water retention and look a little slimmer. However, during the weight loss period, you should avoid eating too many high-sodium food because excessive sodium intake can lead to water retention and cause edema. When edema occurs, it can give people the false impression of being obese, forming "false obesity". In daily life, everyone is very busy and it's difficult to find time to exercise every day. Therefore, it's important to pay more attention to diet and eat more potassium-rich foods. Potassium can help the body excrete excess sodium, thereby reducing the occurrence of edema. Foods rich in potassium include bananas, spinach, pumpkins, and cod. Try to eat less high-sodium, high-fat, and high-sugar foods. However, if you really can't avoid attending a gathering with high-sodium, high-fat, and high-sugar foods, I will also use “Perfect Body” in my diet. Step 4 can quickly eliminate edema in the limbs and face, while Step 3 I use as a meal, to lock in fat and eliminate it from the body, helping to break down and burn body fat while maintaining a slim figure. In addition, drinking plenty of water can help reduce the retention of body water, promote excretion of excess water, and reduce the occurrence of edema.

 

3)Diet plan

1.Oatmeal porridge

Oats are rich in fiber and high-quality carbohydrates, which help promote metabolism and digestion. It's recommended to cook oatmeal porridge and add some fruits or nuts to make it nutritious, while also helping to reduce edema.

 

2.) Baked salmon

Salmon is rich in high-quality protein and omega-3 fatty acids, which helps to promote body water excretion and digestion. Fresh salmon can be selected and baked at a low temperature, which is delicious and nutritious.

 

3.Chicken Udon with Tomato Soup and udon noodles

Or you can try the healthy and delicious recipe I previously recommended, " Chicken Udon with Tomato Soup and udon noodles", which only takes a few minutes to make a delicious and healthy meal that will not make you fat or cause edema due to excessive salt intake.

4)Drink anti-edema beverages

1.Ginger tea

Ginger has a spicy taste, which can promote body metabolism and circulation. Cut a piece of ginger into small pieces, boil it in water, add some honey or lemon juice, and enjoy its unique taste, while also helping to eliminate edema.

2. Lemon Coix seed water

Coix seed can help reduce swelling by clearing heat and dampness. Lemon is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, which can promote the elimination of excess water and toxins. Combine these two ingredients for a refreshing drink that can help eliminate excess water and improve urination.

5)Massage

Massage can promote lymphatic and blood circulation, which can accelerate the elimination of excess water and waste products. Apply some massage oil to areas prone to swelling, such as the calves, and massage to quickly reduce swelling and relieve muscle tension.

Bonus tip

To avoid uneven skin tone when wearing shorts and tank tops, I take 1-2 GLOWHITE daily. They help reduce melanin production, resulting in a brighter and smoother complexion.
